Discovery

We spoke with product management, business analysts and solution architects to get a sense of where the current pain points were across OpenText’s current applications. We focused our design efforts around the Business Analysts as the industry was demanding a more simple & efficient way to create business solutions, using no code. We scoured the web for competitive product demos and had brainstorming sessions with product management and development before beginning our design and prototyping phase.

Design & Iteration

While designing, we continually conducted small feedback sessions with a select group of Business Analysts we referred to as our “Design Partners”. Our prototype encompassed design solutions for Business Objects, Forms, Data Modeling, Business Rules, Life Cycles, and Relationships.

Testing

In partnership with Livia Sumegi, I created and facilitated 15 testing sessions in our Innovation Lab, a popular booth at our annual Enterprise World conference. We created a final presentation for Sr. Management that included a usability scorecard and design recommendations.
